I'm a 22 year old girl and I have abusive parents, I'm never granted what I want, and now they are preventing me from having my chance to getting a scholarship outside. They prevented me too from going outside home unless it's work or education. They prevented me from marrying my boyfriend who proposed to me too. They do all kind of abuse (emotional, psychological, physical) since ever I was a child. I want to travel outside but they hold my passport locked in their room. I don't know if I can travel some way without my papers, can I? I want to ask for right of asylum once I'm out but I want a way to get out of my country borders

PS: I want to travel either to Europe or Turkey.

First, you are 22 you are an adult and can do things on your own. Report your passport missing and get a copy. Then do whatever you want.

No you can't ask for asylum from over protective or even abusive parents. But if you are, being effectively help prisoner, you might be able to get the police involved. If you are allowed to go to school talk to a counselor who may be able to get you help.

There may be cultural issues here, but you have a right to your own life.

So leave, move out, you are a adult and have that right in most places. Agree, move out, get your own passport, and then you can go anywhere you have the money to go.
