Tonight I wandered into my bathroom after somebody else took a long shower in the other bathroom (the tub for that bath is right up against the wall to the other bathroom) and noticed that there was water all over the floor!

I went into the offending bathroom, and there was water all over the floor there too! I hope to God that I don't have to replace the entire tub, as there is NO way I can afford that because I am currently dealing with repairing a leaky roof and a leaky toilet (the toilet is in the offending bathroom). I have no idea how to diagnose this on my own and cannot afford to hire a plumber to even come take a look at it for at least 2 months (and I have no clue how much THAT will cost).

This is really stressing me out something terrible, and I only came across this forum by accident. What do you guys think?

Also, does anybody know how I can verify what the leak is on my own if possible?

Ok I talked to my dad and he seems to think it's a clog in the drain and that the water is likely overflowing when taking long showers/baths (I personally take short showers, maybe 15 minutes tops). We had a guest over that spent an hour in the shower and prior to that gave their child a bath. This could have exposed the overflow/clog if that is indeed what the problem is.

Does any of this sound plausible?

Nobody has any advice (short of calling a plumber, can't afford that right now)?
