Do you mean that you are trying to set up a wireless router? If so, your firmware for the router may need to be updated. You will have to be more specific though in order for me to pinpoint the issue. Normally the message you received is related to a wireless internet connectivity issue regarding the router.

No not a wireless, I have two computers hooked together through a cross over cable. I have tried the repair tab but get the message that the network did not assign a network address to the computer. How do I do that?

Hmmm... twisted cable... I see.

Well, are we certain that you are using the correct twisted cable for your application? Secondly, are we certain that both network cards are both working and drivers installed correctly without errors in the Device Manager? Are you using Windows XP and have you disabled any and all firewalls?

Thanks for your help. I was reading some of the other questions and found the answer, it was a IP address problem. It work great how.
