I have a 1988 honda accord it has been sitting for about three months, the other day I tried the car no luck the starter went bad so I replaced it and battery is dead as well so I will jump it and try to start no lights on das board... when I put the key on switch no noise of relay clicking all dark... will the dead battery need to be deep cycle ? Or a bad relay ? All fuses are good

Replace the ignition switch and harness.

Thanks , that was my initial thinking just trying to cover all the basics before doing the hard stuff... if battery completely dead should I deep cycled first ?

I would just place it on a 6 amp charger and let it go, until the ammeter cuts back to between 1 and 2 amps.
