There are many variables that play into this. First is the birth of your baby. It can take months, up to a year to regulate your period. Now you throw the depo into the mix. Depo has a tendency to either lengthen a period or make it disappear completely.
It would be in your best interest to contact your OB/GYN to see whether this is the norm for you. It's possible that depo might not be the right birth control method for you.
