Okay so my friend is helping me dye my hair for the second time (Ever) in semi-permanent hair dye and at first we used

"Revlon Colorsilk Beautiful Color" in the color 71 Golden Blonde

My hair was originally Black with cheap dollar store semi permanent dye. I dyed it black in February 2012 with no issues dying it but all of a sudden after we used bleach that came with hair dye we picked up (We got SPLAT colored hair in Multi-Colored) and we used the bleach that came with it and it turned my routes blonde right away because that's where my friend accidentally put a LOT of bleach there because they were the darkest thing in my hair and we used the Revlon dye we got 2 boxes of it and we had to use both boxes because the first box because my hair was so dark "Didn't even dye most of my hair" according to my friend and we ended up learning it didn't dye ANY of my hair and I personally think it was because she wasn't supposed to bleach my hair first or if SPLAT's bleach is specially made FOR splat dye.


Im sorry if this all sounds really confusing but can you please give us tips?

We ran out to the store for the second time and this time we got Garnier Nutrise Color Foam in "9 Light Blonde"
