Hello everyone.

I have a large in-ground pool running on a sand filter. Recently (since its been sunny) algae grew at a fast rate and my chlorine levels were a little low. I added plenty of chlorine to help stabilize and kill off algae. The algae was putting up a fight so I added shock treatment . My chlorine levels are well over the maximum limit and the algae seems to have died off.

However, Im having trouble getting rid of the Cloudy Water in my pool. Its basically milky white. The pool chemical levels are all in balance and have been for over a week. Ph has been between 7.2 to 7.4, Alkalinity bounces around between 110-130 and chlorine has been high since I added high amounts to kill off all organics.

I would also like to add some other info:
I use large chlorine tablets, my pool is liner material and I've back washed daily to remove excess buildup of invasive material. The Filter runs for about 14-15 hours a day.

I just can't seem to clear up the cloudy water. Any info or solution would be greatly apperciated, Thanks
