I've done some research on it recently. EtG can be effective up to 80 hours of drinking. I've read some studies that were conducted on subjects who drank light, moderate, and heavy. Most of the moderate and heavy drinkers tested negative around the 40 hour mark. At around 72, there was no positive hit.
