I have a Miller unit with a 40+5 capacitor. It has a blue wire(fan). A red wire(herm), and a orange wire(control), and a yellow wire(control). The yellow wire has burned out on me twice with in a months time. I haven't replaced the capacitor, because it looks as if it's in normal working condition. Is there any reason to why the yellow wire keeps burning out?

Loose connection at the yellow wire is probably the fault OR just replace the entire yellow wire with new quality end connectors. Note the wire used for replacement does not need to be yellow to work and if it was me I would up size the wire size to the next step. IE replace 14 with a 12 or a 12 with a 10.

Thanks hvac1000 I'll try to replace the entire wire.
