Call your public library to do a search in LEXIS/NEXUS to find case law for this.

I don't even understand the question - yes, go to the library and look it up.

I think I understand the question.

OP is asking for case law concerning by-law provisions providing that directors must be under a certain age. Have appellate courts invalidated such provisions? My guess would be "no" because the chances of such an issue making it to an appeal are virtually nil. I have never heard of such a by-law in the first place.

If there is statutory law in the jurisdiction bearing upon the issue (again, not likely), such a by-law would be obviously invalid, and (as I say) there would be no need to litigate.

Seriously, I found that note-taking did aid retention, but I never kept the notes. The important part is the learning going into the head, not on the notepad.

I tried recording the lectures, but that acually seemed to impede retention, for some reason. I think it had something to do with dulling the urgency of understanding what was being said at the moment it was said.
