I am struggling to find out how to find the surface area of a cone giving all answers in terms of pi... radius is 8 and slant height is 12... Please help?

Do you know the formula for the surface area of a cone? :confused:

Given the radius of the base =R and the slant length S: the area of the slanted side of the cone is \pi R S and the area of the base is \pi R^2. The total surface area is the sum of these.
