Have 10 yr old Lennox 10ACC-060-230-02 unit. Blower on inside furnace working, fan and compressor on outside unit working. Oulet vale doesn't have condensastion/sweating and not to cold to the touch also just replaced the capacitor. Freon time?

Call and HVAC tech... whatever is wrong is beyond the ability of the average homeowner. However before you do... turn off the breakers to it... wait a few minutes then turn them back on... its a longshot but worth trying.

Tried what you suggested. To clarify actually have two units (upper AC/lower AC) the upper AC unit is a Lennox 10ACC-030-230-01 (smaller). Turned both off/on at same time. The 230-01's oulet pipe is sweating and small coil is warm to the touch. Larger 230-02 unit's outlet pipe is not sweating and small coil is cool. Hot air is blowing out top of smaller unit and cool air is blowing out of larger.

Not sure what your local outside temps are... but I'm assuming its not 110+ F outside. My concern is Freon... You probibly have a small leak. Just an FYI... I've not had to put freon in my Home unit in the 15 years I've owned my house yet. And it has been checked every few years... and it was only a few years old when I bought the house.

So needing freon shouldn't be a frequent event.

Unless you have the tools, knowledge and license of the trade... its not a do-it-yourself job. This does NOT use the same Freon that's in your car.
