I have an hp deskjet 3050 printer and want to connect my wireless laptop to enable printing. How do I go about doing this?

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. This can lead to confusion. So I've moved your question to its own thread.
I think only the 3050A has built in wireless. Which means you have to connect the printer to a PC and then share it on your network. How to do that depends on what version of Windows you use.

I am using Windows 7 home premium operating system on my laptop and already set up my desk and laptop computers to a network. I have printing capability from my desk top and would like to add my laptop but don't know how. Can you help me with that?
Thanks.

If you have a follow-up question please use the Reply or Answer options rather than starting a new thread. I've merged your threads.
For Win 7, select the printer in the Printer And Device list and right click and select Sharing. Set the printer to be shared. Then, on the laptop Open Printer and Devices and Add a print. Select network printer and you should see it listed then select it.
