Water coming into home is on quest line. Line where it connects to go into hot water heater is cpvc. How do I connect the two. Tried a compression coupling.

You need to go to a local plumbing supply store and get a very specific fiting... a quest x CPVC adapter... or they can make one up. You will NOT find these at any home improvement stores.
