Me and my ex split up about 2 months ago after a 2.5yr relationship.About 3 weeks ago he emailed me to ask if my offer of a chat was still open so I said yes and nafter that we had been emailing back and two, about 2 weeks ago we met up and talked and he told me he had slept with someone on his hols which was really non of my business as we are not together , he made it clear whilst we were talking that he misses me and he kept saying the grass is not greener I told him that if he didn't want to try again with me then he had to close the door on us completely but he said he didn't want to do that , that same night he rang me at midnight and asked me to go over so I did and stayed. On the Sunday night he rang me at 2am to telling me that he had to tell me the truth and a mate of his told him that if he wanted me back he had to tell me everything, he went on to say that he had been seeing someone for about 4 weeks after we split and that he had made a big mistake by letting me go and again said the grass was not greener and that he loved me so much and always had done. So now in between then and now its come out that he is still seeing this woman but kept telling me its not what I think, he got lonely and has got himself in a mess and wants to get out of it and that he meant every word he said to me that night at 2am , she has had a cancer scare and he can't just drop her like that . The other day I told him that if he loves her and doesn't love me then I will leave him be but he had to tell me to disappear, his response was "i can't do that " the next day I asked him again if he wanted to be with her ad he said " no i dont " and then the following day I asked again and he said " i dont know what the hell to do at the moment " I replied with "just tell me straight to give me that final push out of the door if you want her then i will leave you alone to be happy but if you dont then you need to tell me now before i disappear for good " didn't get any response so an hr later I said " its your call now , but let me know either way" I have not heard a thing and its been 3 days with no contact at all , we were supposed to be meeting up tomorrow to talk and for him to say he's sorry but I have no idea what to do.. I'm so confused because why would a man tell you he loves you, regrets splitting up with you and wants you back and tries to convince you for weeks that he was telling the truth if he doesn't ? I know he's in a mess, what should I do ? Should I leave him be to contact me ?

Stop talking to him, go no contact even if he messages you. Not only if he your ex, but you're his ex. Seems like you're also trying to get him back, why on earth would you do that, are you blind and stupid? He's cheating on his girlfriend right now, whether you think he is or not. What makes you think this guy isn't going to go and do it to you if you get back with him.
