I was due to have my second injection on the 3rd of feb this year, I didn't go back as me and my partner are now trying for a baby. Its been nearly 6months and we still haven't been successful, how much longer roughly do you think it will take for the depo to leave my ststem after one month nearly 6 months ago?

Hmm that's weird. My girlfriend has the same shot and her shot last about 3 months with a month give or take where it may still be active. So hers last about 4 months.

I always advise my patients to consider this long-term birth control. It can take as long as 12-18 months for it to completely leave your system.
