My boyfriend was recently arrested at our home. He has been on parole for 3 years and there was a box of firecrackers in my closet that I had completely forgotten about. My x-husband gave them to me years ago and I never got rid of them. My boyfriend is currently in jail awaiting to see the probable cause board. The charge of possession of illegal fireworks was entered as INTENT NOT TO PROSECUTE. But he was arrested for them because they were in our house. His original charge was arson, which is not a good contributor to this situation. He is going to see the probable cause board on the 23rd of this month. I have never had to deal with any kind of parole stuff before and am not sure how to go about any of this or what to think. Can anyone please tell me what will more than likely happen? When I went to visit him in jail he said that they cannot send him back to prison. Why would they not be able to send him back to prison? What would be the reasoning? Of chorse I don't want him to go to prison! We have a daughter together and I would just like some kind of real idea what will happen. I am very afraid. I tried to tell the parole officer that they were mine but I know that doesn't matter. Because it is his place of residence it is a violation. Can someone please help me?
