I am currently 2wks late for my regular monthly period, I have just started lightly bleeding with very little cramping... does this mean I'm not pregnant? The color is a darker red than when I'm on a normal period. And was only enough to cover a quarter sized spot on a panty liner and it shows a little when I wipe. What should I do should I take a hpt anyway and see my dr or give up hope that I may be pregnant? Thank you, Amy

I think you should def go see a dr. number one. Number two spotting even getting/having a period your entire pregnancy is totally normal except in the very last trimester.. my advice is to go see your gyno and get checked out. The only thing that concerns me is the darker red blood.
