Help!
I have two dogs who have both been potty trained for years.
One of them recently sliced her pad on her paw open and has to plastic around her bandage when going outside. She has been refusing to go potty when out there.
This morning, there was a lovely present of poop and a lake of pee in our living room. There was so much pee that it really made me wonder if the second healthy dog had added to it.
My theory was proven right tonight. When we left for a half an hour in the same location as this morning there were TWO separate piles of poo left as presents for us.
We tried cleaning it with enzyme spray and even white vinegar.
So here is my question: Help! First, how do I help my poor injured puppy to feel safe going outside again? Second, what do I do about my second dog who has suddenly decided to poop and pee in the house with her? How do a punish them? Can I? What is my best course of action?
