We are doing a step parent adoption without an attorney and yes I do know that hiring an attorney will be easier and can handle everything and answer all of our questions but if we can do it without spending thousands then we are going to go for it.

We just want to know that being that it is a step parent adoption, I am the birth mother and my husband is doing the adoption of my daughter, do I have to fill out the consent to adoption too? I know the bio dad does and we have his consent but do I have to include all of my information in all the forms to consent being that I am the birth mother, so of course I consent.
