I thought that it would ''break'' eventually but that's not looking likely.. and just want to no some info on it.. is it a safe procedure and I no this sounds inapropriate but how long after can you have sex after.? A bit of advise would be nice cause I don't no who else to talk to about it cause I doubt my friends would understand :/ ha

I think this would be best answered by a medical professional. You can Google this as well and that could get you some answers. Truth be told I had to Google this to figure out what exactly it was.
My feelings are that it would be a simple procedure and you would just have to wait a few weeks for healing. Maybe less depending. Maybe a weekish. I don't honestly know.
Talking to the medical professional that is going to do the surgery will give you all the answers you need. Don't feel embarrassed. I can guarantee you that they've had worse questions.

I know this is a few months old. So if you haven't already found out or for anyone else searching. I had mine removed when I was in labor. All she did was snip it, and stitch it with dissolving stitches. It can be done in a dr. Visit very easy peasy. No big deal. Sounds awful but they.numb it and you can't even tell it's been done. I am assuming after stitchea dissolve you'd be safe to have sex.
