My son has taken one dose of reglan, he's two weeks old and he's going through some of the side effects that it said it would give but I had no idea! His pediatrition gave it to him today. Its time for him to take it again but I really don't know if I should give iot to him or not?

As long as you are giving him the prescribed dosage there should not be a problem.
If you are concerned then you need to consult your own paediatrician as we do not know any of the medical history.

Hi I firstly wanted to point out this isn't a medical advice place by professionals, however I think there are some nurses and medical professionals here so hopefully they answer this as well. But woah your pediatrician gave him reglan? That's an intense medicine to give a 2 week old baby. What are his side effects? I don't know why theyd give that to him, it can cause awful ones, unless his reflux is that bad and you've tried him on other things?
If I were you I would call a different pediatrician and get a second opinion. It's hard to say if you should give him more or not, because reflux at that age can cause a choking hazard. You need to call some kind of nurse hotline if the pediatrician isn't open. I don't know where you're from but a lot of pediatricians in the US will link you to a nursing hotline after hours. If yours doesn't, hospitals can have one and some insurances have one. The number would be on the back of the insurance card and the hospital one should be on their website. Hope this helps, good luck mama :(

Here is information about reglan: Metoclopramide Injection - PubMed Health (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000132/)
http://www.drugs.com/reglan.html
The Drugs.com site specifically states:
Reglan should not be given to a child.
I am not a medical professional, but reading this I have to wonder why this would be prescribed for a 2 week old. It does not seem to make sense. So I would contact your pediatrician and show him the drugs.com page and ask that the prescription be explained and justified. If the pediatrician insists it is justified, I would be inclined to get another opinion from another physician who has examined your child.
