Okayy so I've been on the pill for 5 years, I was off it for 5 weeks then started the patch. I've never had sex without a condom... but I'm now 2 weeks late. I've never been more than 2 days late. I took a test this morning (two weeks late exactly) and it was negative. What does this mean? :(

It could be you're pregnant and your body hasn't produced enough HCG hormone to make the hpt become positive, or your body is just adjusting to the different kind of hormone treatment you've started from the patch. It happens. I'd put my bet on it just being the patch, I'm not a medical professional and the only way to be sure is to get a blood test done or to wait until your next period is supposed to come and if you miss that test again.

I changed the pill I was on 4 times and I never had problems and the patch is really low which is why it doesn't really make sense to me, plus I have all the "early pregnancy symptoms"
Thanks for your input!

Then it is very possible you are pregnant. The low dose hormone method don't tend to be as effective as full dosed at pregnancy prevention. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask!

How long do you think I should wait before getting a blood test?

You don't have to wait at all to get a blood test. Unless you ovulated days before your period, it's very likely the egg has already implanted. You just may not be making enough HCG hormone for it to come up on a hpt yet. A blood test, however, measures even the smallest amount of HCG so it will give you a definitive answer.
