Basically we are both 19 and we broke up a week ago because as she put it "she was unhappy in general and wanted to find out why" I do want to get back with her because I feel that we have more potential and I think its down to her anxiety issues , She got the same way during her final exams then when they finished she was much better , we did spend a weekend away for 4 days that was timed with her getting her period so we were fighting quite a bit

But the point of my question is I am using the no contact rule to try and get over this and maybe get her back , its her birthday on the 10th (tommorow) and I want to know is it OK to text her a happy birthday and also what way should I say it?
Should I be happy or should I be to the point or should I add a message, Ideas?

An ex is an ex, go no contact forever and move on. Texting is a bad idea, birthday or not, she has made her decision, make her feel the consequences for not valuing you.

No Contact is not for the purpose of getting her back. Maintain No Contact. No birthday wishes should be sent. She's history.

I agree 100% couldn't have said it any better

This is a question I have heard regularly but you must NOT break no contact. She does not deserve any birthday wishes from you at all. Maintain no contact, you WILL NOT regret it.

Go no contact bro, it's tough and we know you mean well but she doesn't deserve the thought of the day.

No contact proves you not thinking of her, it's a win win for you... trust me I've done no contact for 7 weeks now and its terrible but you have to try.

Looks like you're not getting the answer you want. I'm was on week 6 of NC until he contacted me and asked how I was and if I wanted to meet up next month :-( I'm not going to let it set me back but contact of any kind only hampers your progress for both the sender and the receiver. In my case I responded neutrally (prob a bad idea to even respond) but in a positive tone. He got cold and short with me and said he couldn't talk. I guess he didn't like my response. Either way both sides tend to lose when someone makes contact.
