View Full Version : Boyfriend doesn't trust me?

I've been dating my boyfriend for 8 years.
Obviously, as with most relationships, we've had ups and downs. I've never given any reason for him not to trust me, and nor him to me.
Recently, I was on the internet, and as some of you may know, the search bar on Firefox can keep all your searches. I was typing in something unrelated, when I noticed a user name linked with a photobucket tag. It is a user name I have on another website, but not my photobucket.
I knew it wasn't me that searched for it, because my username for my actual photobucket was something different, and why would I be searching for myself.

Previously, about a month ago, he brought up that he just happened to "stumble" upon my pictures on the internet (nothing nsfw, but I am a busty girl, and hackers will take anything they can get), and asked me about it.

I thought it curious that he just happened to "find" these, but I figured whatever, and deleted my entire photobucket to take the pictures down. I asked him how he just happened to stumble upon them, and he just said he was internet browsing.

Now I realize he clearly went out of his way to look for my pictures on the internet. I have also since noticed that he goes our computer, and looks through all my internet history, documents and photos.

I have nothing to hide (I never delete my history) and I have never given him any reason to distrust me, so I can't understand why he's looking through all my stuff.

I want to talk to him about it, but I don't know how to bring it up without him getting defensive about it. He obviously lied about how he found them to me once already, so I don't want him to feel that I am attacking him.
I trust him enough that I leave my Facebook account logged in all the time, so he has easy access to it at all times.

Has anyone been in this situation? I am not sure what to do about his "spying" on me. I am hurt that he feels the need to go through my stuff.

You've been dating 8 years, ask him. Why are you searching through my history?
I don't understand doing things like that, invading someone privacy. You don't have to have anything to hide, but it's just rude.
