I've tried and tried. Help me out. Because me and hubby don't know what to do. We've been trying to conceive for 5 months now. But can anyone help me out to as what days I need to have sex so we can conceive. The past year my period has started either the 7th 8th and 9th of every month. Then on June 4th. I had a colposcopy. And bled a little. Then the 5th my period started forsure. And lasted about 4 or 5 days. Then, this month I started spotting a little on the 5th then that night it started really heavy like normal. And it doesn't hurt like normal. And I've been having pregnancy symptoms since last month. But hpt says negative. So what is this? And what should I be doing? And what days hould I have sex?

Pregnancy tests as I am sure you know, will not normally show up correct till about a week past the time you miss your first period. So have you missed a period yet.
Next 5 months is almost nothing in trying to conceive, Have you followed any checks to find when you ovulate

Have you discussed this with your OB/Gyn? There could be several reasons you are having trouble.

It takes the average couple 1-2 years to conceive once they begin trying.
Five months is nothing.
There are ovulation kits that you can buy at most drug stores. They're like a pregnancy test, you urinate on them and they tell you if you're ovulating. Other then that, there's really no way for anyone on this site to tell you when you're ovulating.
At 5 months trying to conceive most doctors won't even be concerned, especially not enough to do fertility testing.
I wish you luck.

no i havent chec with her.
If you haven't then how can you say:
ive tried and tried.
As alty said 5 months of Trying to conceive is just a drop in the bucket. If you want to know when you ovulate the first person I would talk to is your OB/Gyn.
