Hi, my question is that I am only 23 years old and it looks like my hair is growing gray hairs as the days goes by. I do not know why. My father told me that he started having his when he was in his 30s but mine started when I was 19 and it looks like I have about 20 of them at this time and it is kind of embarracing to answer questions like "hey you got a gray hair?" I have kind of stressful life with college and work right now. But I am trying not to worry mysfelf with these issues. So, I just want to know if there is anything that I can do to stop? Besides what is the best hair colorint shampoo to use that I can get from retail stores (Or order online that is FDA approved) to cover those gray hairs?
Thank you for your answer.

Premature greying is often a genetic factor but there can also be nutritional factors. Other factors are mental stress, lack of vitamins, too much of certain vitamins (Vitamin E), improper care of the scalp, smoking and even second hand smoke.
Here is a site for natural remedies to greying hair:

From articles I have read, it states to be careful of hair dyes. But, as with the majority of health related questions/concerns, please talk to your doctor. Maybe he/she can refer you to a specialist.
