I have a new Panasonic 42inch plasma TV and I am not happy with reception. I had new aerial system, top of range with booster for other room use. The signal breaks up on some channels( crack noise on sound / horizontal bands of picture distortion). Loss sometimes entirely of channels like FILM4. The areial system has been checked OK. The separate freeview box running a TV in another room appears OK. We are on Wrekin transmitter. Any suggestions please. Thanks.

This may sound odd, but do you have external surround sound, because some of the plasma TV's are receiving inteferance from electronic devices, I bought a plasma TV from Sony and I had a similar problem but I had wireless connections so it may not be related but just a suggestion.

Thanks Zoniac. I do have cinema surround but I get the problem without the surround on. But it's worth thinking about in connection with outside influences and am trying to move all electrical items away. Thanks again
