Hello, I am 16 a he is 20. I will be 17 by the end of the year and his birthday has already passed. I am going through a custody battle with my parents Monday over me and my sister. We are not sexually involved. I just need to know if something is brought up in court about us dating if we could get in trouble. I live with my older sister who wants custody and knows. My dad doesn't yet but my mom isn't happy about it but gave consent. Can someone please help?

Only if you like two headed kids and being the butt of incest jokes the rest of your lives...

Dating is not legislated. However, sexual contact and marriage are. Considering you said you have two are not sexually involved, then yes, it is legal to date.

The short answer is yes. Basically, anyone can date anyone.
Having sex is a different matter. You tell us your ages: you are 16 and he is 20.
That would not be statutory rape in Ohio (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_North_America#Ohio).
Incest is another issue. This (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_regarding_incest#United_States) article suggests that only parent-child sex is considered illegal incest.
However if this is brought up in the court proceedings, it could obviously be used against your sister and your mom.
