I have been off the contraceptive pill for a few months and would like to go back on it, usually I have to take it on the first day of my period when restaring again. Mine are never regular and wondered if anyone knows that if I start to take it again anyway it will still work??

Yes you can start taking some cp's when ever you like but if you read the leaflet in the pack it will tell you to use other contraception as well as you will be unprotected for 10 days.
If you have any queries read through the leaflet that came with the pill pack or ask your pharmacist.
