A lot to an insanely large number. Depending on all the details we are in the dark about.

Do they have indoor plumbing in Alabama?

I'm assuming they do. At least some of them.

OK let me clarify. I'm talking about Ontario, Canada. There is a T-joint, with a bathtub/toilet draining.

Still haven't told us the material, length, cast iron? PVC? What type of pipe are you considering to use? What does your local code require? How about a picture? What is the issue for replacing?

OK, but we still can't tell you how much it would cost because we don't know the labor rates in your area. We also don't know what kind of piping, cast iron, PVC or copper?
Why don't you tell us more about your problem. Even though we can't tell you how much it would cost we might be able to help you by telling you what needs to be done. A picture of the piping and the surrounding area would be nice.
