I have a 1995 honda civic that shuts off 5 min after I start it. If the car sits more than 3 hours it will shut off. Then I wait 10-15 min the car will start and I can drive all day. I can set my watch to when it shuts off and when I can start it. Please if anyone can help.

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil inside the distributor. Apply silicone heat transfer grease to the back of the new ICM.

That will solve the problem. This is a good time to also replace the rotor and distributor cap. High resistance in these worn components often causes high secondary voltage to be discharged into the ICM and coil, which causes them to fail.
P.S. You are one of the lucky ones where a Code 15 was thrown. Most of the time, it doesn't happen.
