Have a 2200 sq. ft. two story with full basement with hot water heat. How can I best add air conditioning?

This post makes more sense. You will have to get some bids to determine the best way to get AC through the house. With a basement, they can install an air handler with an outside compressor and ductwork for the first floor. For a typical second floor install they may recommend another unit in the attic or find a closet to run a supply and return system and then run ductwork through the attic. Not going to be a cheap fix. .
