Hello, all. So about six months ago, I met this amazing man online. He's in his mid 20s and I'm in my early 20s. We're just four years apart. Anyway, we became really good friends quickly and then it progressed into us both admitting that we were interested in one another romantically. Then it progressed into a sexual interest. (Phone sex every other week and late night Skype meetings.) The problem is that he lives almost 1,000 miles away from me, he doesn't want to do another long distance relationship, and he met another woman about two months ago that he's falling for. Soon after, I met this wonderful, charming, gorgeous guy right on my campus. (He and I didn't make anything official because he had to return home and he's not sure if he'll return anytime soon.) After we both became serious about other people, we ended all sexual aspects of our relationship but it still doesn't stop him from telling me how much he wants me and how he wishes I lived closer to him. When I asked why he said those things to me if he's falling for her, he said "You're just too hard to give up." He's told me over and over again how much he cares for me and I do care for him too. I feel jealous of him being with her. Mostly because I know he wouldn't be with her if I lived closer. I don't want our friendship to become bitter and troubled. My question is... should he and I even remain friends?

You two have never even MET. Of course it's all romantic and wonderful online and on the phone. He seems to enjoy two relationships but you don't. So it's a no brainer: tell him so, and hasta la vista (something that isn't as final sounding as goodbye).
