Long story short, I was sentenced 6 months ago for a OWVI in Michigan, 1st offense for anything, I called earlier today and was given permission by my probation officer to leave state and go to Ohio with my family to visit some family. I was given 1 week of vacation time. But, the question is, will I be called by my probation officer to report anywhere for some type of testing? She has never called me before, and I am on non-reporting/mail probation. I just don't want to be embarrassed in front of my entire family because of this whole situation. She didn't ask any details about where in Ohio I will be staying, all she said was, 'I put a note in, be safe and have fun." What should I expect, any advice/opinions, and no I do not plan on drinking.

If I were to have 2-3 drinks, would she call me in to report somewhere local within 24 hours? Or since she let me go out of state with little information, will she even care to test me? Please help

Yes they have the right to call you in, while there, or even have a officer come and make sure you are where you said you were going to be.

All she knows is that I'm in Ohio. Never asked anythig else.
