I was due for my period on June 22nd but did have a white milky discharge that I have never noticed before, I did not get my period until June 23rd... I know only a day off... that is not what concerned me though. On the 23rd bleeding started very heavyand was normal red color... by the end of that day it was light and brownish, on the 24th barely anything on the pad and by the end of that night only when I wiped a very light pink color and continued like that until it stopped around 10am on the 25th. And no white milky discharge now.
My normal period are very heavy every day for 5 days... has always been exactly 28 days.
I feel like I am pregnant but not sure if it is all in my head. I am a little confused, could it be implantation bleeding?? I gained 16 lbs in one month a little back pain and feeI exhausted lately... some and nausea. Have had implantation bleeding before but at that time I did not keep track of my periods and don't know if was before after or when my period was due.
Opinions please!! I am very high risk as I have had a 3 kids then a tubal and then a tubal revearsal with one successful pregnancy after equaling 4 kids total and one miscarrige and have other issues that make me high risk...
Just want to know if this sounds like I could be pregnant or if sounds like a wacky period.

You definitely need to take a test to be sure. If your high risk then you'll have to get to an OB as soon as possible if you are. As for the gaining weight, it seems to early for a pregnancy to effect your weight. It probably only implanted days before the bleeding and it doesn't effect your thyroid or hormones (other than progesterone) before than. It could have also been a chemical pregnancy, but there is no way to tell this far out. Hopefully it was just a weird period. Have you been especially stressed lately? I gain weight and have short periods when I am, maybe you do as well.

I always seem to be stressed but not more than normally... the weight could be from not having time to cook at home meals... but my body is funky... I don't know if you saw my newest post... but I know today have a thick clear mucus like blobs of discharge and like little pain almost like pressure in that area.. I have been to the clinic and actually got my results from them for what I was tested for and that was or stds... that I routinely get done. Everything was negative. Took a pregancy test with clinic and negative but that was about a week and a half ago. Took an at pregnancy test like 4 days ago and negative... something is up with my body... if I am not pregnant. The clinic doesn't really answer your questions... they just test give you the results and send you on your way.

To me it just sounds like a funky period, but I could be wrong. Usually implantion bleeding isn't heavy but sometimes there can be bleeding for other reasons. Is there any way you could make a GYN appointment and get a blood test? If not the only thing you'll be able to do is wait and try taking a hpt again. :(

I called and they can't get me in for a month so it looks like I am going to still be playing the waiting game... if my next period does not come on the 20th I will know for sure... thanks for the help :-)

You don't need to go to a GYN for a blood test. You can go to your regular doctor, or a walk in clinic and request a blood test. You don't have to wait a month to get one. It should be same day service, at most you'd have to wait a day for the results.

Yeah you can definitely go to your regular doctor, but most general practitioners don't do blood tests in their office and would have to order one. I was just thinking the GYN because they do it and get the results in office, or at least most do. If you were to go to a clinic I would make sure in advance they do that there since a lot don't. Hope everything turns out okay, and your welcome!

Every PCP I know, and/or have worked for, do the blood tests in their office. Now, clinics mostly do urine testing.

Well then hopefully hers does because I've never had one who did blood analysis in their office and I've been to many in many different states. The most I've gotten was a finger prick.

I already went to the walk in clinic and they woundt do a blood test. They did do a urine test and all the std testing I requested... they had to draw my blood for that anyway so I don't know why they just didn't do the blood test.

Our clinic has an onsite lab that draws blood but they wouldn't order the blood test. Like I said they kind of get you in and shove you out the door because on the lab work order it does have an option for them to do blood pregnancy tests or check my hcg level.
