I have been taking Loestrin 24 FE for 8 months now. This month, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and the next day I immediately started my period which is a week and a half early. It lasted for only 5 days. My period usually lasts for 10 days and doesn't usually start until 10 days before I start my new Loestrin pill cycle. After the five days my period ended two days later I noticed some spotting which was light pink to brownish. My period should've started 5 days ago. Typically when my period would start early it would last until my pill cycle was finished. So if I started my period started 2 weeks early I'd be on my period for 3 weeks or until my current pill cycle finished. I have been experiencing minor back pain and headaches and indigestion after almost every meal. Could I be pregnant?

Any time you have sex you can get pregnant - nothing is 100% effective.
Did you get your period while on the "reminder" pills or while on the "actual" pills?
I am reading that if you get your period you keep taking the pills in the same manner, one a day, in the samer order.
Is that what you did?

I guess it was the actual pill. I did take the pill the same time everyday. I have an alarm set on my phone to remind me to take my pill

Are the actual pills the brown pills at the end? When I started my period I was starting my second week of my new month's pill cycle.

Hmm - how's that for a non-answer?
My thought? I'd call the Doctor and ask. It sounds like some form of break through bleeding but...
I'll be curious to know what caused/is causing this -
