Hello I'm new here I have just joined as I have searched all over Google and did'nt really help, I'm 16 years old and I have irregular periods and am currently taking the pill 2 regulate them. I've been on them for a while now but they don't even work half the time,I can go 2-3 months with no period, when I begin a period I seem 2 have lumps in it that look jelly-like, it is a beige kind of colour but sometimes black, I have cramps and sharp pains in my vagina while I am on my period, is this all normal? please help

This can be very normal, the brownish color is normal for non heavy periods and in the beginning and end of periods as far as the clumps that is the lining of your uterus shedding. When you release an egg in ovulation the uterus wall gets thick in order for the egg to attach to the wall and implant if the egg is not fertilized it will not implant to the wall and therefor the wall needs not to be thick and will shed that is your period, and clumps. And the cycle starts all over again. You don't say what age you started your period but it is possible you have just not regulated yet, IM 23 and still have irregular periods. If you are very active or your weight fluctuates that can also cause irregular periods. You should also talk to your dr. or nurse they should be more that happy to answer your ?'s if they are not find a new one. Hope this helps good luck
