My county courthouse and DOR state that they are not responsible for posting tax lien on my credit report but that lexus nexus does this. I have already paid a tax lien and it is released but I would like for it to be expunge. Can you help me?

You can't get a factual credit history item expunged... only items that can be proven inaccurate.

You said you HAD a lien.. and it was paid... the fact you ever had a lien is thus accurate.. and will remain... as such... reflecting when it was issued and when it was paid. That's what credit histories are about... they show the good and the bad you have been responsible for... you don't get to pick.

Lexus/Nexus publishes records of court actions and the results. Credit bureaus monitor these reports and report appropriate actions. The report should indicate the lien was satisfied. That's the most you can do.
