It won't respond to the computer. Any ideas?

I can't find anywhere online that shows what the number 22 fuse does that's located on the driver side dash and the amps. Anyone know?

We replaced the number 22 fuse last night and now the truck won't start. I'm sorry if I'm not explaining this well.. I'm helping my dad with his truck and I know nothing about cars to be honest. I'm just trying to help.

. Remove and fully charge the battery. Most auto parts stores will do this for free.
. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. Be very thorough.
. Check for codes.
. Check for fuel. Can you hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run, when the ignition switch is turned to ON?
. Check for spark.
. Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting, if the dash lights don't come on or many under dash fuses fail with a test light or multimeter.

We shot starter fluid through the breather and it ran and died. We just replaced the fuel pump Friday and he drove it 300 miles. He came home Saturday (yesterday) and had stopped at an auto zone. The computer isn't reading anything and another guy put his on and it wouldn't do anything either.

The fuel pump pumps for a couple seconds and then stops.
