I know this is very long but its just everything that has been happening.
I've had a feeling for quite a while that there is something around me, like whatching me in my bedroom, most of the times at night. First I though I had only imagined it but then some really strange stuff had been happening. About a month ago I woke up at about 4.am in the night hearing a loud clock going "tick-tock, tick-tock" really loud, I ripped open my eyes because there are no clocks that make sounds in my room. As I opened my eyes the sound started fading away. I was really creeped out but just thought to myself I had imagined it all. One or two weeks after that again I woke up in the night at about the same time. I ripped open my eyes, so this all makes scence I have to say my bed is about a meter above the floor because I have drawers underneath and beside my bed there is a table for me which is about have 10 cm lower than my bed, I put my water bottle in case I'm thirsty in the night. So I woke up and the bottle was like shaking as if someone had been trying to throw it over and it was trying to not fall over, eventurally it then stopped moving. I was creeped out because I couldn't have been my cats as they were sitting at the end of my bed, they were staring at the bottle but then just went back to sleep so I thought maybe it could have been a little earthquake because dogs and cats are supposed to notice paranormal prensence. But then one night just a week ago I woke up around 3am because I was to hot, I went to living room to get my cat just to comfort me because I was felt being whatched, I left my door open about 5 cm so my cats could come in with a push. Now my two cats were lying at my feet again, sleeping. I then put all the lights off and went as I was half asleep I hear my world map (hanging on the wall beside my door with metal ends) hitting the wall, I open my eyes and I see my world map banging againts the wall, then the fethers of the dream catcher hanging beside the map start swining from side to side that really freaked me out so I stand up check if something is there and I find my door opened completely. I waited till it finally stopped and slept with my light on. Also some other nights I've been hearing thumps and sounds of someone hitting walls, no one else of my family heard anything.

Since you haven't actually seen anything... there is the still the possibility that this could be a combination of things. Air currents in the home can do wonders for half open doors and anything hanging. I'm just trying to get you to think of other explanations here.
However, this really could be the result of a spiritual presence in the home or around you. How long have you been in the home? How long have you felt "watched"? How old are you? Does anybody in the home or in the family practice an "alternative" religion?

It could have been air currents but the think is that it seemed as if someone slamed the map against the wall repetedly. I have lived in my home since 10 years now or longer, it only started since I started being intrested in paranormal things, I started resourcing it the more I resurshed it, the more things happened. I do not know what my age has to do with this, but 15 and no, no alternative religion, no one in our family inculding me are religious. Also air currents wouldn't explain why I heard the sounds of a clock in the night.
Last night something weird happened again, I couldn't sleep at about 3 am and then I red some book to get me tierd and then I heard beside my bed something slaming the side of it, about 4 times, it gave me chills.

Your age has nothing to do with your situation. I just like to know how old the person I am dealing with is. If your interest in the paranormal has become an obsession, it can open a door for spirits in your life. Playing with the paranormal circumstances isn't harmless as it is portrayed on TV.

Okey, well I can't really say if it is an obsession or if not. What do you mean, do you think there is a spirits around me now threw my interest? So are you saying that I should stop resurching all this, could it be harmful to me? And what should I do now, can I find out if, that if there is a presence is evil or good? Sorry for all the questions I'm just really currious.

I'm not saying it IS why you are having these experiences... but it is a possibility. Even if it is not an obsession... spirits can see an interest and will quickly move in to take advantage of you or use it as a foothold into your life.
How do you think you would go about finding out if it is good or evil? Ask them? They can lie... even worse than people. The only way you can gauge a spirit is according to the Bible. It really boils down to either angelic or demonic (The human spirit is not free to roam after death). The spirits that make noises, cause apparitions and so on are demonic ones. Just because they don't act completely evil right off the bat does not mean they are not. They are deceptive more than they are scary. That reason alone is one not to get too involved in the paranormal field of study. Why deal with spirits when they are all a bunch of liars to begin with?
If I were you I would leave the subject alone. Demonology is not something to shy away from... but it depends on your reasoning for studying the subject. If you are simply interested, the devil can and will take advantage of that. If you are studying to learn to set people free... you still need to measure everything according to the Word of God.
If this problem does not cease with your study of the paranormal... I suggest you contact a local church. Let me know if you have any other questions...

The thing is that something makes me want to know all about it, I can't stop thinking about it and want to be prepared for anything that could happen. Am I supposed to stop finding out about the paranormal? And thank you for all the advice. :)

How can i tell if there is a paranormal presence after me or around me?Hello iz:
You can ask me, and you DID... There's NO paranormal presence around you... There's just no such thing. You don't believe in Santa Clause, do you? Same thing.
However, since you asked, I'm SURE you won't believe me. If you THINK you're being haunted, there's not a thing I could say that would change your mind.

I don't believe in god, the bible, saitan, I really get your point I just really think it is a intersesting subject and I can't really explain what has been happening but I really get your point. People who are so convinced about something like that drive me mad too, as I said I'm just currious about it.

And of course it is up to you what you want to believe and what advice you choose to take to heart. I'm only offering advice to you as I know it, experienced it and believe it. I can't force you to believe anything I say, nor will I try... I'm just putting it out there.
But to further answer your question... yes, I mean stop any study of the paranormal. Studying the paranormal doesn't automatically cause a problem... just like playing with a ouija board does not always cause a manifestation. However, how you describe your problem it seems to me that the possibility is there that your interest may be fueled by spiritual sources.

I experience weird things also.. but most of all I always feel like I'm being watched at night and my 3 yr old son says he sees a monster and he's scared so we sleep with the lights on.. my question is.. is it safe to ca someone into see if we are haunted or wi it make the spirit worse if we are being haunted? What do you think is best? Because I am terrified and worried.
