Last week I went to pick my son up from nursey and I caught him with another child trousers down and he was trying to put a wood spoon in this child bottom. I told the staff, and they were keeping a close eye on them. Yesterday I picked my son up again, he only goes twice aweek, and I told he was doing it again. He has never done this at home with his bother, and I'm really worried he will do it again, and really hurt someone! I don't understand why! He has never been exposed to things like that ever. I'm going into nursey to speak with the manager. I don't know what to do or what to think. Can anyone help?

If you don't feel that you can gently and calmly ask him, then take him to a therapist who can. It may be totally innocent, an attempt to see where his poop comes from. Or of course it may be something he saw or experienced. Just ask as casually as you can and maybe start with telling him how food goes through his stomach and out his bottom, and draw some pictures. If you don't get anywhere take him to someone who can. And ask his brother too (you don't say how old he is).

I guess my concern is that you saw this twice in two weeks when you went to pick him up.

First what type of day care is it, most the day care workers go and bring your child to the front to sign them out, not allow a parent to just walk into the center.
Then how out in the open is this, how can he be doing it, without staff seeing it.

And of course if you at random saw it twice most likely it would be happening many times a day by math assumptions of the possibility of you seeing twice in such a short time
