Ah well kinco nuts and olives are a form of compression fittings. Im guessing if you don't know what they are you will not be able to answer my question.

No guys! We don't eat Kinko nuts and olives with a glass of beer. It's a compression fitting, (see image)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can't quote Aussie code but you can't use compression fittings under a slab or ground. Check with your local Building Department. Good luck, Tom

Cheers, thanks Tom, I appreciate your answer. You are obviously a plumber who has common sense. I think it safe to say that if not legal in Fl it won't be NSW either. Thank you!
