I cosigned a rental lease for my daughter. She defaulted on the rent. Can the landlord have a lien placed on my property

I cosigned a rental lease for my daughter. She defaulted on the rent. Can the landlord have a lien placed on my propertySure. Your signature on the lease means they can come after you for everything owed. Just pay them what your daughter defaulted on.

If they obtain a judgment against you, which they can, then yes they could use that judgment to file a lien against your property.

You are suppose to just pay them, not make them sue you. If you don't pay them, they can sue both of you, if they get a judgement, it is possible that yes maybe they could get a lien.
