I was with a partner for seven years. Within those seven years she has bullied me, and now I've had counciling and being treated for severe depression. I lost my identity. Can I sue her?

Yes I think you can . Talk with a judge .

You can sue anyone but will you win? That's not likely to happen. I doubt you would have any kind of chance at winning a suit of this kind... if you could even find someone to take the case.

Look at it this way... how many times have you read or heard about a woman suing a guy who abused her and beat her up? Doesn't happen.

You could have left anytime. There are no grounds for a successful suit.

Sorry my daughter was messing with the computer . So she's 13 . What I think you should do is talk with someone in your family and ask them what would be better to do .Family should know what to do . I cannot say anything else because I don't know if there would be a possibility to win .

.Family should know what to do .

Unless that family is very familiar with the law, its unlikely they will know what to do.

Deal with your own issues and heal properly from this relationship. I doubt suing some one for what you voluntarily put up with is legal. It would make you feel better to take money from them, but the chances are zero to very slim at best.

The best revenge is to find your own happiness and recover from this mess.
