My fiancé and I have been together for a year and two months. Unfortunately, the entire time we have been together we both have been addicted to smoking percocet 30s. Now we have both managed to get clean but I am worried that she may not enjoy spending time with me since prior to this most our time was spent together getting high. I know that we are in love and she is the woman of my dreams. The only reason why I am worried is because my friend put it in my head that now we r clean we may not get along being sober. I would really appreciate any comments, advice or so on... Thanks

Congratulations on getting clean. There is a chance he could be right as that was what's you shared, but you also share getting clean. I hope you both stay clean. You might do some recovery counseling together.

Thank you for the advice... I spoke to my girl about the prospect of attending HA, AA or something similar and she thought it would be a fantastic idea. It would give us something to start doing together on a regular basis and hopefully open up more doors to fun things we can do together instead of her spending time with her friends all the time and myself, either doing the same or just sitting bored at home because for some reason her friends don't like sharing their time with my girl with me...

Well, just today her old best friend that she calls her sister just flew into town from living in Tennessee for the past few years. Now it seems like she is all caught up in that and seems like I am thrown off to the side now.

Not thrown off to the side. She has a life and should visit friends especially that she is healthy.
Do you have a social circle, friends?
