My daughters dad has filed for joint custody, what can I do for him to get either visitations at the court or none at all?
My daughter is afraid of him, the last time he tried calling me, he said that he wanted to talk to her so I gave her the phone and she started crying. He heard her crying as well, He has seen her 5 times in her 5 years of life, has been in and out of jail and prison at a young age and after I had my child, and broke up, he joined a gang. He has tattoos that flash his gang on his FACE, he has been in jail for drugs, his current girlfriend has accused him of domestic violence and he has 3 kids with her, does not and has never worked. I have received welfare in the past, I was a 17 year old single mother, but I have surpassed that. I am a college student, I have a stabled job working with case managers and I am afraid for my child's sake. He is a danger to her, I wish her father would be in her life, but he is a negative influence. I have done it all from the start, and my child has become very smart, knows more then she should at preschool age. He has ot contributed to any of this. What documents do I need to prove he is a danger to her? I know his criminal records will help, but he is claiming he is a changed man, maybe he will one day, but he can not say that yet, he just got out of a prison sentence and is on parole. He has been accused of sexual assault, with his own cousin, but she never filed anything. What else can I do to prove, he can be a danger to her? If he wants to be part of my daughters life after so long, OK, but I need to make sure the court is observing him.
