I have 6 wires(Brown, Blue, White, Green, Red & Yellow) but only have a place for O/B, Y, R, G, W. I have hooked it up with the blue in the O/B and it did not work then put the brown in O/B still not working then put blue and brown in the slot still nothing all of the other wires are in the coordinating positions. What is left to do, please??

Go down stairs and check the circuit board on your furnace, write down the colors to what letter they are on the circuit board. P.S. you have to take the cover off the front of the furnace and you'll see the wires with silver screws on the circuit board. Even better take a picture of the wiring arrangement with you phone so you can refer to it. It seems every installer puts the wire colors on different connects so unless you check the circuit board you don't know. Google the circuit board manufacture with the circuit board model # and they should have a wiring diagram.
