You should be talking to professors and guidance counselors at school right about now, to ask what job prospects there are. If you can afford more schooling, go for CPA. If not, it's time to network friends, family, and people at school for jobs. If there is a company you are particularly interested in, write to their personnel dept a glowing letter about wanting to work there your whole life.

As you are seeking a degree in accounting it is reasonable to expect you will seek work as an accountant after graduation, in the meantime you might seek work in a clerical capacity or do what you are familiar with.

It is very difficult to give you advice without knowing what job opportunities might be available to you, but if you are going to work in the profession certainly you need to look at CPA or CA so you will be able to meet the requirements of a large firm and present yourself well if you are going to set up your own firm
