I am on minocycline, an antibiotic for my face. Does this antibiotic make my birth control less effective? Minocycline is tetracycline based. Am I at risk for pregnancy?


Without knowing what birth control you are on it's impossible to say. Do the Physicians who prescribed the birth control AND the antibiotic know about the two prescriptions?
